This document explains the rights of the user (the data subject) about data deletion and the responsibilities of ROLLICK in answering such requests.
An individual has the right to erasure, also known as ‘the right to be forgotten’. The principle underpinning this right is to enable an individual to request the deletion or removal of personal data without a compelling reason for its continued processing.
Individuals have a right to have personal data erased and to prevent processing in specific circumstances:
ROLLICK stores data about individuals to identify them and provide them access to dedicated services. The minimum information we store is the individual’s name and e-mail. While participating in games, other kinds of data may be collected, stored, and used by our Privacy Policy, which can be found at http://www.music.tuc.gr/projects/g4m/policy.html
Users of ROLLICK can delete their user account by three means:
Detailed instructions can be found in our Data Deletion Guide.
Once a user account is deleted, user data cannot be recovered by the user or the ROLLICK administrators. Data deleted or otherwise destroyed can not be recovered at any time. For that, sufficient warning is given to the account administrator before data are permanently deleted. Data may remain in the rollick backup files, which will be deleted periodically.
Subsequent logins to ROLLICK (after data deletion) using third-party social media services will result in creating a new account in the system.
